SOME/ART : 'SOLID LIGHT FILMS' BY ANTHONY MCCALL AT EYE AMSTERDAM
EYE presented the first solo exhibition of Anthony McCall in the Netherlands. Blurring the boundary between art and film, the series of large-scale light projection installations so-called ‘Solid Light Films’ pare down the cinematic process to light and duration. With a thin mist in the air, the light beam of the projector becomes sculptural.
