SOME/ARCHITECTURE : ATREO SKYCRAPER BY ATELIER CRILO
Atreo, the famous hero from the ancient greek myth, is a concept building that investigates and tries to compare a narrative theme with architecture, looking for a tangible relationship with the past. The series of illustrations show a concept skyscraper, presented on Evolo, with lacerations and breaks over the black armor of metal and dark glass, as direct metaphor of episodes of war. The prosthesis, protruding at different heights, are heliports while below the building complex are located underground spaces and infrastructural nodes as beating heart of the building, similarly to the iconic use of underground spaces in the ancient greek culture.
