SOME/THINGS contributor DESIREE DOLRON's new series, Xteriors, was presented for the first time during ART BASEL HONG KONG, last month. Influenced by the subject of representation and image making in a historical context, The Xteriors series [2001-2013] continues DOLRON's study of time.

HER CONTROVERSIAL PROJECT EXALTATION, WHICH DEPICTS EXTREME RELIGIOUS RITUALS, WAS FEATURED IN SOME/THINGS ISSUE003. IT ALSO SERVED AS THE INSPIRATION FOR AN ACCOMPANYING ESSAY BY LONDON-BASED ART CURATOR NICK HACKWORTH, WRITTEN SPECIALLY FOR SOME/THINGS.
