HOT ROD HOUSE BY OLSON KUNDIG ARCHITECTS IN SOME/THINGS CHAPTER005
features previously unpublished images of
HOT ROD HOUSE
— the home designed by
[of
] and his wife Jeannie. Originally a turn-of-the-century two storey bungalow in the formerly working class neighbourhood of Queene Anne in Seattle, the house was purchased with the intention of using the original foundations and structural walls to make continuing renovations, changes, and additions: 'hot-rodding'. Since its completion in 2006,
HOT ROD HOUSE
has served as an on-going research project.
