SOME/THINGS VISITS BATTISTERO DI SAN GIOVANNI IN FLORENCE

the BATTISTERO DI SAN GIOVANNI is one of the oldest buildings in Florence. it's white and green marble exterior originates from the integration of romanesque and Paleochristian architecture developed between the 11th and 13th centuries. the Baptistry is renowned for its three sets of bronze doors with relief sculptures, created respectively by Andrea Pisano and Lorenzo Ghiberti. as well as the roof, which is lined with Byzantine mosaics dating from 1225, depicting in three parts the Last Judgment.
