The Stanley Kubrick exhibition, which will run for 8 months, opened at the LOS ANGELES COUNTY MUSEUM OF ART [LACMA] on November 1, 2012, after already touring through Frankfurt, Paris, Amsterdam, and other major European Cities. Presenting a selection of more than 1000 objects from the director's personal archives, the exhibition features Kubrick's early photographs taken for LOOK magazine in the 1940s, in addition to annotated scripts, production images, lenses and cameras, set models, costumes, and props from films including Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb [1964], 2001: A Space Odyssey [1968], A Clockwork Orange [1971], The Shining [1980], and Full Metal Jacket [1987].

among both original and reproduced props from Kubrick's film adaptation of Anthony Burgess' 1962 novella A CLOCKWORK ORANGE were the Allen Jones-inspired scultpures from the Korova Milkbar and a replica of the original Milena Canonero-designed Droog costume worn by Alex [Malcolm McDowell].
