IRIS VAN HERPEN 'hybrid holism' autumn winter 2012/2013 collection
Inspired by the work of architect and artist Philip Beesley, IRIS VAN HERPEN's AW 2012/2013 collection, titled 'Hybrid Holism' and presented during PARIS COUTURE FASHION WEEK, applies materials including mirrored copper sheeting, metallic coated stripes, UV-curable polymer, silicone lace, Swarovski crystals, acrylic transparent sheets, and Ecco leather. Collaborations included the 'pythagoras tree' 3D printed dress, created by Materialise and .MGX with architect Julia Koerner, clutches designed with Heaven Tanudiredja, and masks with Irene Bussemaker. Shoes for the collection were made by United Nude.
