ADAL BY NORA RENAUD JEWELLERY FOR YIQING YIN COUTURE SPRING SUMMER 2013
NORA RENAUD studied at École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris before working for a number of couture houses, including Christian Dior, Montana, Cerruti and Nicolas Andreas Taralis. in 2010, she began her own jewellery collection ADAL, which includes pendants, rings and unique sculptural objects handmade in France from oxidised and treated metals, leather, and fabrics. THE COLLABORATION BETWEEN NORA RENAUD and SOME/THINGS STARTED WITH A 30-page editorial, featured in CHAPTER005, modelled by NORA and co-styled with MONIKA BIELSKYTE. This was followed by the CHAPTER006 box design co-created with Pedro Rodrigues Kogen.
YIQING YIN studied at the école Nationale des Arts Décoratifs. She won the Grand Prize of Creation, awarded by the City of Paris, and presented her work at the Hyères International Festival in 2010. Her collection was then displayed in the windows of the Ministère de la Culture, the Théâtre National de Chaillot, and the prestigious Joyce Gallery. YIQING YIN was also selected by French Vogue as one of the '8 young designers to follow' and in June 2011 she was awarded the Andam Prize for First Collections.
