CHAPTER005 CONTRIBUTOR MAX RICHTER TO DEBUT 'SUM' AT THE ROYAL OPERA HOUSE IN 2012
SOME/THINGS CHAPTER005 CONTRIBUTOR MAX RICHTER is putting the finishing touches to his opera, SUM, commissioned by the Royal Opera House for the Linbury Studio, for premiere in May 2012.
The piece is based on the bestselling novel 'Sum: Forty Tales from the Afterlives' by American neuroscientist David Eagleman, & incorporates film, music and performance. Wayne McGregor, with whom Max collaborated on INFRA for The Royal Ballet in 2008, is directing.
